"Music is my ministry."
Â
With a sound rooted in gospel music, and fused with elements of pop, R&B, jazz, neo-soul, hip hop, and EDM, Azara is carving out a lane that feels both spiritually grounded and culturally fluent. Her music speaks directly to those who’ve felt stuck within or overlooked by traditional spaces — the visionaries, the socially ackward, those impacted by trauma, that strong friend, the artistically gifted and genius creatives who won't quit, figuring it out in real time.
Â
Â
As a child raised outside of church, later to accept Christ in her college years, Azara understands both worlds. Living with God at the center of her life has been her ultimate saving grace. She has a passion for helping people see that reality, that God loves them immensely and wants them to know Him... deeply. Her genuine authenticity and sincerity drives her mission and purpose: "to create thought-provoking inspirational music that meets people right where they are, without any pressure or judgement, and helps them to see God's love for them in action, as well as their own priceless worth."
Â
Â
Vocally, she delivers an angelically rich, buttery, airy soprano layered with emotion, control, intention, and soul — drawing early influence from Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Sade, and later shaped by the depth and agility of gospel greats like Karen Clark Sheard, CeCe Winans, and Yolanda Adams. With a foundation in classical music, under the tutelage of the legendary Dr. Karen Nevins, her voice carries both technical precision and undeniable soul. She is known for her smiley, friendly personality, her songwriting storytelling that connects with the heart, and her unique spin on vocal and instrumental production, utilizing both digital and "super-ly" analog methods of recording interesting sounds and adding them to her artistic arsenal for creating new out-of-the-box standards for trending music.
Â
But Azara’s artistry doesn’t stop at the mic.
Â
A producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur, she operates at the intersection of creativity and innovation — building not just music, but safe spaces for growth. As the host of Rise & Thrive podcast and the Founder @ Dare 2 Care Foundation, her visionary work extends into real-world impact: empowering communities to thrive through creative arts, thought leadership, and community engagement.
Â
Azara is building a movement — she’s a voice for the unchurched, the unheard, and the ready.
